STALLHOLDER/FOOD vendor
This Zero Waste event will celebrate sustainability, creativity and community, showcasing art, fashion and function made from discarded materials. As a vendor, you’ll part of something special and impactful!
IMPORTANT DATES
APPLICATIONS CLOSE: Friday 26th September 2025 at 5:00pm
Please note: Submission does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are assessed for suitability (see Festival Values below).
EVENT DAY/TIME: Saturday 4 October 2025: 10:00am - 4:00pm
VENUE: Horseshoe Bay Community Centre, 70 Horseshoe Bay Road (Next to the Skate Park).
Festival Values Please Read Carefully
We are a family-friendly, zero-waste, environmentally conscious festival. Stallholders must adhere to the following:

No single-use plastics, glitter, glow products, plastic bunting, war/plastic toys, balloons, or plastic bags.

No fairy floss, corn dogs or excess junk food.

No items in single-use or plastic packaging.

Yes to reusable food service ware only – (no non-compostable packaging).

Yes to aluminium cans (no plastic bottles).
-
Yes to bulk condiment containers (no sachets).
-
All stallholders waste must be removed by the stallholder.
Food vendors must submit packaging for approval before the event.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STALLHOLDERS/VENDORS

As a MICDA event and to comply with our insurance policy and our agreement with TCC, you will need to be a MICDA member: $25 or $15 concession. To apply for a membership please visit: www.micda.com.au/become-a-member

Your $30 market stall fee which will be collected on the day, will be donated to Zero Waste Magnetic Island, to assist them with their ongoing projects. There is no stall fee for not-for-profit organisations.

Retail, Wellbeing, and Information Stalls: 3m wide, no power supplied.

Food Stalls: 3m wide, limited 10-amp power (max 3 vendors).

Food vendors must be zero-waste compliant.
Bump In & Out Times SATURDAY 4 OCTOBER
General Stalls: Bump in 7.00 - 9.00am (Setup complete by 9.30am).
Food Stalls: May bump in Friday 3rd October (8.00am–5.00pm) by arrangement.
Stall vehicles are not permitted on-site outside designated hours.
Bump out: After 4pm
Conduct & Behaviour

No animals allowed on-site (except registered support animals, which must be noted in this form).

Be kind, responsible and respectful – we are a community.

No spruiking in front of others’ stalls.

No bullying or inappropriate conduct – stallholders may be asked to leave for non-compliance.
